Artificial intelligence-based springback compensation of EV motor component

Abstract The hairpin is a crucial component of the drive motor an electric vehicle, consisting copper coil and very thin enamel layer. It manufactured using successive forming processes due to its complex shape. After processes, springback inevitably observed, which causes critical issues in fabricating motor. Compensating time cost-inefficient process, new process required for cost-efficient process. In this research, intelligent has been proposed compensation by applying Artificial Intelligence key parameters AI are dimensions coil, including bobbin information, material property variance bobbin, punch stroke, amount springback. As preliminary design, data set constructed through finite element simulation. For compensation, stroke was optimized with trained optimization algorithm. results show that could play role solving manufacturing issue.
